when God Changes Your Plans...

PLOT TWIST….
So as y’all probably know… God works in very mysterious ways sometimes… You are headed in one direction and then all of a sudden you hear “PIVOTTTT”
yes as I type I this I am thinking about this scene from friends
& you have to really lean in to figure out what change God is calling you to make. & that is exactly what happened one month out from our due date… So excited for you to hear the full blown God story (click below hehe)
While changing plans can be difficult as we have to part ways with our idealized vision for a situation…we believe it does 3 things that are incredibly impactful for your walk with God.
1. It reminds you to say no to yourself and yes to God. He isn’t a genie in a bottle. He is King of our lives. See Rev 19:13,16
2. It reminds you to be open (AND TUNED IN) to the Holy Spirit. This can be tough for type A peeps who want everything to be planned and scheduled. See James 4:13-14
3. It reminds you that greater joy is around the corner! God knows the end from the beginning and even though on the surface things can look bleak, confusing, and difficult, God’s will is something for us to embrace and the peace that surpasses our understanding will do the rest! His peace doesn’t wither and pass away like the things we tend to put our hope in. See Phil 4:7
